As an update, I've just had Freddie round to replace an older wood burner in my house. It was a difficult installation because the previous flue had been a bit of a botch job. Freddie worked really hard to solve the problem of removing the old one and then did another first-class job in fitting a new flue and stove.

Freddie is an incredibly hard worker,  he worked tirelessly for over two weeks to get our two stoves in to a crooked old victorian house with bricked up chimneys which bent at right angles in some places. Having purchased a house with an old double sided wood burner and a rather too large brick fireplace we knew that it had to be replaced we did our research and decided to ask Freddie to help us, Thank goodness we did as Freddie identified that the stove and installation was non-compliant and not installed to HETAS regulations and therefore could not be used. There were other challenges during the rectification works which he discovered and was able to remedy easily. Freddie is brilliant he knows his trades very well and is skilled at what he does. He was able to provide the skills required for our complete renovation of the fireplace, from the removal of the old fireplace, installing the new wood burner stove and the construction of the new fireplace in the lounge area. Freddie is a craftsman and everything he did was to the highest standard and always neat and tidy at the end of the day.  He is hardworking and completed the work within the time frame and we would not hesitate to recommend him.

Freddie repaired both our chimneys and the surrounding brickwork after we noticed some leaks around them. He also repaired some broken tiles and cleared the guttering.
